Duel Hall is two things under one roof, both free and both built by one person in their spare time:
- Head-to-head games at duelhall.com — short, tense, full-information duels where the outcome is decided by the choices you make, not by a lucky draw.
- Focused web tools at tools.duelhall.com — small single-purpose utilities that do one job well, with no sign-up and, wherever possible, without your files ever leaving your browser.
What it stands for
- Skill over luck. Every game here is symmetric and fully visible — no hidden cards, no dice, no random damage. If you lose, it's because you were out-played, and you can see exactly how.
- No sign-up to start. Play against the computer or a friend on the same device with zero account. Signing in with Google is optional and only unlocks online matches, friends and a rating.
- No ads, no trackers-for-profit. There is a simple first-party visitor counter and privacy-respecting analytics so I can tell whether anything's being used — that's it. Nothing is sold or shared. See the privacy policy.
- Your stuff stays yours. The tools run in your browser. The image and PDF tools process files locally; the notepad and planners keep everything in your browser unless you choose to sign in and sync.
- Fast everywhere. The whole site is static files served from a CDN, so it loads quickly whether you're in India, the US or anywhere else.
The games
- Card Duel — a tableau duel with a fixed type wheel, banked Momentum, and one Wild Strike that can break any standoff.
- Rock Paper Scissors — the original best-of-five, with a timer, match history and its own rating.
- Vanguard — a hidden-setup capture game: arrange your 16 pieces in secret, then hunt for the enemy Flag.
All three support local pass-and-play, a CPU opponent, and — when signed in — online matches against friends.
The tools
Over at tools.duelhall.com: a calculator + unit/currency converter, a QR-code generator, an image playground (compress, convert, remove backgrounds), a PDF playground (compress, convert pages to images, merge), a code-diff viewer, a password generator, an online notepad, an honest study/focus logger, a chat-style life planner, and an Explore-India trip planner. All free, all no-signup.
Who's behind it
One person, as a hobby. If something's broken, confusing, or you just want a game or tool added, the fastest way to reach me is the feedback page or [email protected].
