How to play

  • Red drops first, then players alternate. Tap a column to drop your disc — it falls to the lowest empty slot.
  • Win by getting four of your discs in a row — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
  • If all 42 slots fill with no four in a row, the game is a draw.
  • The built-in computer searches deep enough to play a near-perfect endgame — it won't miss a win or a threat.
  • Online games are 10 minutes per side. Running out of time loses.

Connect Four

Drop your discs, line up four. Play a friend online with challenges, a rating and match history, take on a near-perfect computer, or pass-and-play on one device.

Play online

Challenge a friend by name or code, or anyone in the lobby. A ready-check on both sides, a 10-minute clock each, and every result feeds a separate rating.

Near-perfect CPU

Connect Four is a solved game. The built-in engine searches deep with alpha-beta pruning — it never misses a win or a threat, and it plays the endgame flawlessly.

Pass & play

One board, one device, no sign-in. Alternate dropping discs at the same screen.

Simple, deep

A five-minute game with real strategy — control the centre, set up double threats, and don't hand your opponent the square above your own.
